Cedar Compher, Live Music at the Taproom

Coming from a family of musicians in the Pacific Northwest, Cedar creates music from a place of joy- whether it’s performing live, songwriting, or doing session work on piano and guitar.  His most recent adventure was to convert a van into a tiny home/recording studio so he could take his creative process on the road.

Drawing on influences ranging from the song craft of The Beatles to the groove of the Talking Heads to the guitar chops of Stevie Ray Vaughn, he blends genres to produce radio-friendly tracks full of arresting hooks and lush instrumentation, and isn’t afraid to take a solo here and there.

Karaoke at the Taproom

“If you can’t sing well, sing loud.” -Some Wise Guy

The joy of karaoke is not in singing well. The joy of karaoke comes from a group of people coming together to celebrate a love of music, regardless of skill level. It’s about supporting your friends and loved ones as they shriek and bellow a song that you will never be able to hear the same way again. The beauty is in the chaos.
We’ll have a big sheet of songs we’ll be trying to work thru, but feel free to come sing whatever the heck is in your heart.

Cedar Compher, EP Release Party at the Taproom

Coming from a family of musicians in the Pacific Northwest, Cedar creates music from a place of joy- whether it’s performing live, songwriting, or doing session work on piano and guitar.  His most recent adventure was to convert a van into a tiny home/recording studio so he could take his creative process on the road. This resulted in an extended journey around the USA, during which time he wrote and produced his first EP, “Coming Home” scheduled for release on Oct. 25th, 2024.

On Saturday, Nov. 2nd Cedar will be performing at The Grain Shed Tap Room in Spokane, WA for his EP release party from 6-8. He will be playing his original tunes, doing a few covers, and having guests up to perform; it could even turn into a full-on jam sesh. Come have a drink and some good food and be part of the celebration!
